THE FELTMAKER was 3 years old in 2008 and moved from our home to a studio 3 kms away. I became a grandmother to Jessica Rose and added Meisha a Labrador puppy to the family.

My interest in textile art continues to grow and discovery of new techniques is always exciting as I can often add them to felting projects. This also adds a new dimension to workshops and with many samples on hand to inspire students they can then choose materials and try these techniques themselves.

Opening eyes and minds to what others can achieve through their own creative flair is really rewarding and such a buzz that I hum along in a constant muddle of new ideas competing for space and probably flashing an overload sign!

Tutoring day classes at a local Art Centre and evening classes at a High School attracted many keen students and when possible I attend textile courses and enjoy being a student myself.
